There’s something about fall that feels like a deep breath after a long summer, the golden light, the crisp air, the way the trees quietly shift into their cozy hues. I still remember stumbling upon this tucked-away spot in Santee, just east of San Diego. The autumn colors were so beautiful that I couldn’t help but pause and take it all in. I knew right then it would be the perfect backdrop for photographing families in this season.
Last year, I had the joy of photographing several sweet families here, and it was everything I hoped it would be. Honest. Beautiful. Full of joy and connection.
