I’m so excited to share this family session with you! There’s something special about family sessions. Perhaps it’s because the little ones just grow so fast. And being able to capture these moments so that we can hold on to them for just a little longer makes it feel just a bit more meaningful.
Emily’s family and I met up at Eagle Scout Lake which is located inside of Kit Carson Park in North County San Diego. I’ve driven through Kit Carson Park quite a few times but had no idea there was a lake there. The cloudy day made everything feel a bit more quiet and quaint which was a nice touch.
Their little one is about the same age as my son so I was definitely toddler prepared going into this session. I loved how every time I snapped a photo, he would want to see it on the back of my camera. Or maybe he was just trying to keep me in check making sure I was doing my job right. Lol. Either way, it was the cutest thing!
I also loved how adventurous he was. He loved to explore and wander around the park. He even jumped over a log with the help of his parents. And I’m so happy we were able to catch that on camera too!
